n' onion
I know this recipe is very rich, but it is so amazingly good that I think it's worth it once in a while.

Ingredients: (approximate amounts)

1 small onion
10-15 mushrooms

2-4 Tbsp butter
Dash of tamari
Cayenne pepper
Sprinkle of nutritional yeast (optional)


Slice the onion thinly. Slice mushrooms.

Heat up about 1 Tbsp of butter and add onions. Fry until just starting to get soft. Add mushrooms. Fry gently, adding more butter as the mushrooms start to wilt, for about 5 minutes. Add cayenne and tamari. Cook until everything is nice and brown. Add nutritional yeast if desired.

Serve over potatoes or beside some simple steamed broccoli or something.

Enough for 2-4 people.
